【四国ぐるぐる旅⑥】室戸岬リベンジ！大歩危・小歩危の絶景とまさかの昼食難民

Starting from the Ishizuchi Mountain Highway Oasis, this time we're heading to Oboke and Koboke gorges, and then to Cape Muroto! At Oboke Gorge, a designated Japanese Geopark, we enjoyed the beautiful canyon scenery. At the Oboke roadside station, we even encountered the yokai "Konaki-jiji" (a crying old man)! (laughs) Apparently, the TV show "Sekai no Hate Made Itte Q" (Going to the Ends of the Earth) was filmed there! After that, we headed towards Cape Muroto, aiming for the Pacific Ocean! The view of the vast ocean from the observation deck was truly spectacular. Under the blue sky that we didn't see at Cape Ashizuri, we truly realized, "The Earth really is round!" Furthermore, we learned about the topography at the Muroto World Geopark Center, and despite struggling to find lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed our Shikoku roundabout trip! Finally, we enjoyed a hot spring bath at the Shishikui roadside station and returned to Tokushima Prefecture. Our hectic Shikoku roundabout trip is finally coming to an end next time!
