Mac@30 Show Reel - Mac Team Panel at BCS
Shortly after the Flint Center Event in 1984, Steve Jobs took the team with him to the Boston Computer Society. It features Steve Capps, Andy Hertzfeld, Randy Wigginton, Steve Jobs, Bruce Horn, Burrell Smith, Owne Densmore and Rony Sebok. It was the first public announcement and demonstration of the Mac. The BCS footage is currently being preserved and restored in a joint project with The Computer History Museum, including up sampling to HD and improving the black levels, hue/Saturation and skin tones. A remarkable difference between these and earlier digitizations of Steve Job's presentations from that period. These tapes would likely have deteriorated soon, and the preservation of the materials is vital. Only a small part of those meetings - namely the Mac Presentation from 84 was digitized to HD, and then edited to highlights, by All Planet Studios.
