3D printed RC / glof GTI 1:10
Hello everyone, this time I've built a beautiful GTI body, and made some dimensional changes and minor suspension optimizations based on the original Duke Doks chassis, as I'm building a widebody version of the GTI. You'll need to download Mr. Duke Doks' chassis files and replace a small portion of the files I created. I suggest you watch my assembly video first before deciding which part to replace! 1. You'll need to prepare some extra leaf springs. The purpose of adding leaf springs is to prevent the TPU connectors from deforming during long-term driving. (A single leaf spring lasts a long time and is very inexpensive; I used 0.3mm leaf springs. If you can't find a suitable thickness locally, you can cut slightly thicker ones to make the area smaller.) 2. I used two bolts to connect the body to the chassis (one at the front and one at the rear) to save time when disassembling the body. 3. I used transparent UV glue to reinforce the rearview mirrors' connection to the body, which preserves the original structure of the body while making it more durable and preventing accidental breakage of the rearview mirrors. 4. I also used UV glue for the taillights, making them look smoother and more attractive! 5. It's worth noting that you can switch the front and rear directions of the car, resulting in an unusual rear-wheel steering, front-wheel drive RC car. After some testing, this method results in a smaller turning radius, more precise steering, and no fishtailing even with sudden acceleration. It also makes drifting more fun! You should definitely try this driving style—it might feel more like driving a high-speed forklift! The print file has been tested. For thin, upright models, I recommend reducing the speed to 50% for a significantly higher success rate! I'm developing a new free chassis model that doesn't require springs but still has damping. It won't be compatible with many car bodies, but it will precisely fit the body type that best suits it. I hope that every RC car I make is not just a toy but also a work of art, faithfully reproducing the unique characteristics of each vehicle! If you encounter any problems printing it, please contact me and leave a message. I will reply as soon as possible and help you solve the problem! chassis:https://cults3d.com/zh/3d-m%C3%B3x%C3... https://cults3d.com/zh/3d-m%C3%B3x%C3... drive assembly) Car body:https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/...
