Scenic MEI Hydraulic Elevator at Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill, NJ
Filmed on July 12th, 2024 with @dea41396returns & @SchindlerHaughton For a generic mall elevator, this was actually pretty nice. The glass doors that allow for views both sides of the mall are definitely kind of unique, and similar to many MEIs, the Dry Powered Pump had a very nice purr to it, and it goes pretty fast for a 3 story hydro. The fixtures are definitely generic, but I can definitely say that this is one of those scenarios where I can say forget the fixtures, this is still a cool elevator. The controller is definitely kind of quirky between the intermittently working indicator and the randomly long floor passing beeps and nudge mode, but this elevator seems to be holding up well otherwise.
