True Rare Classic Survivor! 1964 MGB Roadster
This 1964 MG MGB Roadster was reportedly sold new at Al Filippone Foreign Cars of Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, and is said to have remained with a single family until 2019. Powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual gearbox, the car is finished in Chelsea Gray over red leather. It also features a red soft top, a decklid luggage rack, fender-mounted mirrors, front disc brakes, and black-finished 14″ wire-spoke wheels with knock-off hubs as well as a Nardi steering wheel, an AM radio, and a heater. This MGB is offered at no reserve on Bring a Trailer with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, service records, and a clean Florida title. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/196... The car is finished in Chelsea Gray, and the selling dealer states that paintwork has been performed on the pinch welds as well as a section of the aluminum hood. Exterior details include a red soft top, a decklid-mounted luggage rack, fender-mounted mirrors, and chrome-finished bumpers. Wire-spoke 14″ wheels were powder-coated black and mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires under previous ownership. A spare wheel and tire are located in the trunk. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The bucket seats are trimmed in red leather, and color-coordinated trim covers the door panels. Appointments include a locking glove box, a passenger-side map pocket, an AM radio, and a heater. Photos show a tear, cracks, and discoloration on the driver’s seat. The Nardi steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles. The 1.8-liter inline-four was factory-equipped with twin SU carburetors and was rated at 95 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. The carburetors were adjusted under previous ownership, and the selling dealer states that the fluids were changed in September 2024. Naples Luxury Classics: We Buy Special Cars and We Pay More!
