Everyone has always wanted to imitate Gigi Buffon, a national icon, the hero of the 2006 World Cup won by the national team in Germany. But Buffon has also overcome another great challenge: the one he faced against the depression he experienced in late 2003, when he was coming off two consecutive Scudetti with Juventus. At the presentation of the awareness campaign "Out of the Maze – Beyond the Labyrinth of Depression," promoted by Johnson & Johnson, with the support of the Fondazione Progetto Itaca ETS and Cittadinanzattiva, Buffon spoke to Medikea TV about his experience and offered some advice to those navigating the labyrinth of depression and afraid to talk about it.
