大興善寺位於西安市雁塔區，是漢傳佛教密宗寺院與密宗祖庭。它始建於晉武帝泰始二年，原名「遵善寺」，距今1700餘年。隋文帝時改名，隋唐時為長安三大譯經場之一。寺內建築沿中軸線排列，有天王殿、大雄寶殿等。這裡不僅歷史底蘊深厚，還承載著中外佛教文化交流的重要使命，1956年被列為陝西省重點文物保護單位，1983年被國務院列為全國重點開放寺院之一。 Daxingshan Temple is located in Yanta District, Xi'an City. It is a Han Chinese Buddhism Tantric temple and the ancestral temple of the Tantric school. It was first built in the second year of Taishi during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Jin Dynasty. Its original name was "Zunshan Temple", and it has a history of more than 1,700 years. It was renamed during the reign of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, it was one of the three major Buddhist scripture translation centers in Chang'an. The buildings in the temple are arranged along the central axis, including the Heavenly King Hall and the Mahavira Hall. It not only has a profound historical heritage but also undertakes the important mission of Buddhist cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. In 1956, it was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Shaanxi Province, and in 1983, it was listed by the State Council as one of the key open temples in China.
