Airfix Spitfire Mk.Ia - Build With Me! Part 2: General Construction of the Model

The Supermarine Spitfire was a fighter aircraft that saw service with the RAF during the Second World War. In this video I complete a long-format build of the Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1a Plastic model kit in 1/72 scale. The version I have here (A68206) is from the Starter Set (or "gift set" as they are sometimes called) which comes with some small pots of paint, a brush and some cement. The perfect start for a beginner! The aim of this series is to give you the chance to quite literally "build with me" - so if you have this kit and want to give it a go, this is the perfect video for you! Alternatively, if you are a beginner, there are lots of helpful, simple and easy techniques that can be found in this series - so definitely worth a watch!
