We'll discuss the most vivid and original stories of faeries, banshees, murrows, leprechauns, and fairies with one of the foremost experts on all things Irish—writer, publisher, and translator Shashi Martynova. About the Speaker Shashi Martynova is a translator, editor, poet, co-founder of the book space and publishing house Dodo Press, former editor-in-chief of Livebook Publishing House, and author of several prose books and poetry collections. She is a multiple nominee for the Master Translation Prize, a laureate of the Nora Gal Translation Prize (2019), the Andrei Bely Prize, and a finalist for the Yasnaya Polyana Prize (2016). Shashi is one of the leading translators of Irish literature in Russia and the creator of the channel "Inner Ireland."
