👶🫁 CHOKING IN INFANTS | Back Blows and Chest Compressions | Updated by International Guidelines In this video, you will learn, in a practical way and based on the latest scientific evidence, how to correctly attend to a choking infant, using the techniques recommended by the main international resuscitation and first aid organizations. During the lesson, you will learn: ✅ How to recognize a partial and a severe airway obstruction; ✅ When to encourage coughing and when to intervene; ✅ Correct technique of the 5 back blows; ✅ Technique of the 5 chest compressions in infants; ✅ Proper positioning of the baby during care; ✅ Main errors to avoid; ✅ When to call emergency services; ✅ Procedures after clearing the airway obstruction.
