We've heard most about fascia lines from Tom Myers, and we know him from him, but the truth is that medicine continues to conduct intensive research on fascia every day. In the Fascia Lines Series, which will be added one lesson each week, you'll find a total of five elasticity and five plasticity lessons. I recommend practicing one elasticity lesson on a different line each day, followed by one plasticity lesson on a different line each day. Alternatively, you can practice the elasticity lesson and plasticity lesson on the same fascia line back-to-back. In the elasticity lessons, we'll stretch all or part of the fascia line to its maximum stretch, creating a return movement similar to the way an elastic band springs back when you pull and release it. In the plasticity lessons, we'll stretch all or part of the line to its maximum stretch and hold it there for 5-8 deep breaths. Fascia remodeling takes 6 months to a year, so please be patient and continue your practice without interruption. You can practice the Lateral Lines Elasticity class and then the Lateral Lines Plasticity class the next day. Or, you can practice both the Elasticity and Plasticity classes back-to-back on the same day. Please wait 2-3 days before practicing the Lateral Lines class again. You can do it!
