Adventure Riding to One of the Best Views

There's nothing better than loading up the bikes and heading off to discover another hidden part of South East Queensland. In this adventure, Sara and I ride our Honda CB500Xs on a 300km round trip from the Gold Coast to the incredible Governor's Chair lookout. The ride is a great mix of sealed and unsealed roads, making it an ideal adventure ride for riders looking to explore without tackling difficult terrain. Before reaching the lookout, we stop at Waterfall Creek Reserve to cook up some steak sandwiches and enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by nature. Not everything goes perfectly though... my kickstand decides to sink into the mud, leaving the bike taking an unexpected nap! From scenic backroads to stunning views, this ride is proof that you don't need extreme off-road tracks to have an unforgettable adventure.
