2014 GMC Acadia, Stalls Sometimes, Codes P0689 & P1682

This 2014 GMC Acadia came in with the complaint that the engine would stall sometimes. Checking codes found two codes stored, P0689 and P1682. The customer did not mention it but the "Reduced Power" message may have been displayed as well. in my research into the codes I found two GM documents related to the two codes and symptoms. They are #PIT5643 (Preliminary Information Test) and #19-NA-276 (TSB Technical Service Bulletin). I also found out that the condition can be found in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse models, 2013 - 2016 GMC Acadia and 2017 GMC Acadia Limited.
