Specht Angriff bei Meisi 😱 Woodpecker attacks great tit 😳

Dieses Video zeigt einen Angriff eines Spechts auf unsere Kohlmeise. Obwohl die Kohlmeise schließlich entkommen konnte, sieht der Angriff ziemlich brutal aus. Der Buntspecht konnte nicht in den Nistkasten eindringen, aber er griff durch das kleine Eingangsloch hinein und schnappte die arme Kohlmeise mehrmals mit dem Schnabel. Zunächst versuchte die Kohlmeise, ihren Nistkasten zu verteidigen, indem sie ihr Gefieder ausbreitete und sich größer machte. Sie schnappte und fauchte nach dem Specht und kämpfte sogar mit ihm am Loch. Später denke ich jedoch, dass die Kohlmeise nur aus dem Nistkasten fliehen wollte, aber der Specht griff ihr jedes Mal an, wenn sie versuchte zu flüchten. Unser armer Meisi hat bei dem heftigen Kampf ein paar Federn verloren, aber soweit wir sehen können, wurde sie nicht ernsthaft verletzt. Gott sei Dank kam die Meise am Abend zurück und schlief über Nacht wie gewohnt in ihrem Nistkasten. This video shows an attack on our great tit by a woodpecker. At first the great tit was attempting to defend his nestbox by spreading his feathers and making himself look larger. He was snapping and hissing at the woodpecker and even fighting him at the hole. However later I think the great tit just wanted to flee the nestbox, but the woodpecker attacked him every time he tried to escape. Our poor Meisi lost quite a few feathers in the fight, but as far as we can see, he was not seriously hurt. Thank goodness he came back in the evening and slept in his nestbox as usual overnight.
