Needle felting - A sea of fibers make a turbulent seascape in this wool painting.

Another Seascape! I just couldn’t stop myself from diving into my Fiber scraps and coming up with another picture of the sea. This textile artwork is needle felted onto a fabric background using rich jewel colours of amethyst jade aqua and blue green wool roving, silk fibers fabric and fancy yarns. The wonderful texture achieved from using all of these things has given the sea a really organic feel creating a turbulent sea.
