Warmer days, tons of sunshine & dry for Central Oregon, through Independence Day weekend.

The biggest story in this week's weather pattern is not hazardous weather or even rain. It's the return of classic high desert summer conditions. Expect a few more chilly starts, increasingly hot afternoons, very high UV levels, excellent travel weather and steadily increasing irrigation needs as the heat builds into next week. Our warming pattern holds into early next week as high pressure remains firmly in control. Temperatures may level off or ease slightly after Monday, but the overall forecast stays dry with cool mornings, warm afternoons, and very little indication of any significant weather changes.
