A Sony TA-FB940R from the highly regarded QS series came into the repair shop with symptoms that could suggest a more serious fault: uneven channels, no tone controls, and crackling noises during operation. In the video, I show diagnostics, a functional check of the amplifier, relay and capacitor measurements, and post-repair listening sessions. All the key measurements were excellent, and the unit was found to be in factory condition.
