What is battling against Christ in your life? 1. Wounds we don't heal (cracks that prevent us from growing spiritually) 2. Idols we don't tear down (superstitions that separate us from Christ) 3. Doubts we don't clarify (ignorance of doctrine) 4. Sins we don't confess (confession is God's tribunal of mercy; Christ welcomes us through it) 5. Stress we don't address (the body speaks and makes us sick) 6. Brothers and sisters we don't welcome (when we reject someone for their sins and don't welcome them). The Church is inclusive, but we don't necessarily accept their mistakes and sins; we must fight against marginalization…and finally, 7. Talents we don't cultivate; within us are talents waiting to be nurtured; there is willpower… Christ welcomed people but also helped them change their lives…He welcomed the adulteress, the thief, Matthew the tax evader, and so on.
