CK3's By God Alone DLC: Everything We Know So Far

The Great Schism. The Investiture Controversy. The Christian Church situation CK3's By God Alone DLC will introduce is moving toward more historically accurate upheaval and inviting players to shape history however they want. This is the final By God Alone DLC before Paradox goes on Summer Break, and I'm taking the opportunity to read through everything again, and explain everything we've learned so far about how this DLC works. New concepts like Rites, Papal Bulls, Anti-Popes, Ecumenical Councils, Puppets, theocratic realms and so much more are coming to the game. At the same time, faith is becoming much more personal to characters and integral to the roleplay as well as the strategy. I also give a brief history lesson on The Great Schism, which we're all going to need to know about pretty soon.
