✅ Evita Errores y Multas del Tacografo
In this video, I explain the driving and rest times according to the digital tachograph: 4 hours and 30 minutes uninterrupted, 9 hours daily, 56 hours weekly, and a 45-hour weekly rest period. Avoid mistakes that could result in penalties. Updated with the Mobility Package. The maximum uninterrupted driving time is 4 hours and 30 minutes. After this, you must take a break from driving of at least 45 minutes. This 45-minute break can be replaced by a pause of at least 15 minutes followed by a pause of at least 30 minutes, both taken within the 4 hours and 30 minutes of driving. The maximum daily driving time cannot exceed 9 hours, except twice a week when it can reach 10 hours. The weekly driving time cannot exceed 56 hours. The driving time in two consecutive weeks (bi-weekly driving) cannot exceed 90 hours. Rest Periods In each 24-hour period, the driver shall be entitled to a rest period of at least 11 consecutive hours. This may be substituted by a rest period taken in two separate periods within the 24-hour period, the first being at least 3 uninterrupted hours and the second at least 9 uninterrupted hours. The daily rest period may be reduced to 9 consecutive hours three times between two weekly rest periods. Reductions in daily rest periods do not need to be made up. The daily rest period must be completed within 24 hours of the start of the driver's shift. When a driver accompanies a vehicle transported by ferry or train, the rest period may be interrupted twice, provided that certain conditions are met (maximum 1-hour interruption and access to a bed or bunk). In the case of vehicles with two drivers, during each 30-hour period, both drivers must have a rest period of at least 9 consecutive hours. In team driving, the time one of the drivers remains seated next to the other driver is considered on-call time and counts towards the 45-minute break. During the first hour of team driving, the presence of another driver is optional, but it is mandatory for the remainder of the time. If the second driver joins the team more than one hour later, their daily rest periods must be taken within 24 hours of the start of their shift. The daily rest period may be taken in the vehicle provided it is properly equipped for each driver's rest and is parked. After six consecutive 24-hour periods following the end of the previous weekly rest period, the driver must take a weekly rest period of 45 consecutive hours (standard weekly rest). This period may be reduced to 24 hours (reduced weekly rest), but not in two consecutive weeks. Reduced weekly rest periods must be made up before the end of the third week following the previous week and must be taken in conjunction with another rest period of at least nine hours. All instances of excessive driving time or reduced rest periods are subject to penalties. Time spent traveling to or from a location to take charge of a vehicle covered by these regulations, when the vehicle is neither at the driver's residence nor at the employer's operations center, is considered separate work and will not be considered rest or a break, except when the driver is on a ferry or train and has access to a sleeper berth. Tachograph Mobility Package: Taking the regular weekly rest period (45 hours) in the vehicle cab is prohibited. It must be taken in suitable accommodation, and these accommodation costs are the responsibility of the employer. Provided road safety is not compromised, in exceptional circumstances (snowfall, accident, etc.), the driver may exceed the daily and weekly driving limits by a maximum of one hour to reach the company's operations center or their usual place of residence to take their weekly rest period. Under the same conditions, the driver may exceed the daily and weekly driving time by up to 2 hours, provided they take an uninterrupted 30-minute break immediately before the additional driving to reach the company's operations center or their usual place of residence to take their NORMAL weekly rest period. The driver must manually record the reason for the exception on the tachograph record sheet or a printed document from the digital tachograph no later than upon arrival at the destination or appropriate stopping point. Any exceptional driving time must be compensated with an equivalent rest period, taken in a single break and added to any other daily or weekly rest period, before the end of the following third week. 🎬 🔴🔴 Equipment used in recording and editing: 🎥 El Gato FaceCam Camera: https://amzn.to/4alh5Pr 🎤 El Gato Wave 3 Microphone: https://amzn.to/48SR1aj
