Prince William ~ Triple

Prince William is an English Country Dance first published by Walsh in 1731. It is a proper triple minor longways dance. It was adapted by Pat Shaw (as a 3 couple dance) in 1960. Found in "The Playford Ball". This tune was performed by Bare Necessities (Earl Gaddis, Mary Lea, Peter Barnes, and Jacqueline Schwab) on the album "More Favorites of the Boston Centre". It is used with permission of Country Dance Society, Boston Centre, Inc. https://www.cds-boston.org/ecdc/ The animation plays at 107 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the moves more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses.
