Massey Ferguson 231 Fuel System Gas Tank, hand pump and filter overhaul

Engine on the Massie Ferguson 231 has acted weird a couple of times by slowing down with no throttle response to an almost die a couple of time. That happened after 15 minutes running. I believe there must be an obstruction in the fuel system. The fuel tank valve vas extremely dirty so as soon as the fuel in the filter cup was consumed, engine started to starve fuel which could not be replenish by the obstructed valve in a sufficient flow. I overhauled the fuel tank installing a new sender and valve, installed a new hand pump, blew air in all the lines and replaced the fuel filter.
