Cosa penso della R1250 RS dopo 1.000 km?

I've spent the last two weeks riding the BMW R1250 RS, the Bavarian RennSport. I was very curious because, as much as I like the boxer engine, it's not my type. Or at least not at this point in my life... never say never! A few years ago, I would certainly have appreciated the responsive, yet not extreme, handling much more. It's an excellent compromise for those who want to travel fast, for those perhaps coming from supersports and wanting a more comfortable bike that can accommodate a passenger and luggage, and that can also adapt to slower speeds when needed. The engine picks up wonderfully, practically from idle in sixth gear, and then pushes hard. The chassis and electronics are top-notch. In short, it's a premium bike, and that's evident from the price. One negative note? In my opinion, the handlebars as a whole. I didn't like them because they were low and narrow, too narrow.
