Even if I live a long life, The suffering of death will be just the same. {6.57} Having dreamt of experiencing a century of happiness One person wakes, After experiencing a moment of happiness Another person wakes, {6.58} When either person has awoken, Their happiness cannot return. Whether life has been either long or brief, When death comes, it is consumed just the same. {6.59} Even if abundant gain is acquired and Happily enjoyed for a great length of time, As if robbed by thieves, Naked and empty-handed we will go.
