Juveniles Arrested After High-Speed Pursuit In Oxnard

01.22.2020 | 12:00 AM | OXNARD - Several juveniles were arrested after leading officers on a high-speed pursuit in a suspected stolen vehicle, early Wednesday morning. A deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a slow-moving minivan that had been reported stolen on the I-101 Freeway near Pleasant Valley around midnight. The van, occupied by several juveniles, fled from the deputy at speeds in of over 100 MPH before crashing into another vehicle at the intersection of Teakwood Street and Ventura Road. Officers took the juveniles into custody without further incident and recovered a large quantity of beer inside the vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.
