In this episode of “Office Hours,” Justin A. Jackson, professor of English, discusses Beowulf. It is unknown who wrote this epic poem or even when it was written. In fact, it was only through luck that it was not lost to history. Yet Jackson explains that Beowulf has much to teach us about heroism, leadership, and the fleeting nature of our world.
