05-17-2026 || Michigan Intense Tornadic Supercell Storm Chase

On May 17th, 2026, my friend ‪@Isaactheweathernerd‬ and I went out to chase a sneaky tornado setup in Central Michigan due to a Mesoscale Convective Vortex moving through the area. That allowed for the development of a lone, long-tracking supercell that rode the warm front and seemed to have produced a few brief tornadoes. None of them have been confirmed though. This was definitely an unexpected day and probably the best storm chase I've had so far! My town and my house got slammed by large, destructive hail as well. Also sorry for the late upload as well.
