Hand Carving a Guitar Neck - Custom Guitar Build - E05 Carving The Neck
In the fifth episode the neck will be joined to the body, so we'll finally have a guitar in one piece! For that, the neck pocket needs to be routed first. Later I'll make the neck bolt plate, drill for screws and inserts and do a test assembly. Finally the fun part: Carving the neck! Hi my name is Max Heidemann and I design and build guitars. Follow along as I try out new (for me at least!) techniques and materials in building the prototype for a modified custom guitar design I call "The Tilt." Thanks so much to my buddy Tom for filming, editing and also writing, performing and recording original music. This project wouldn't have happened without your help! / noisyshack http://HeidemannInstruments.wordpress...
