The TERRIFYING Last Minutes of MotoGP Legend Daijiro Kato

Daijiro Kato was born on July 4, 1976 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Being near the motorsport hub such as Suzuka Circuit his passion for motorcycle ignited early at just 3 years old. As he grew older, Kato started competing in local events using his pocket bike where he ended up earning the championship a total of 4 times. Then on his 16th birthday in 1992, Kato finally shifted to real motorcycles and started riding 125cc and 250cc machines in regional competitions. His performance was extraordinary and he ended up winning a life changing wild card spot in the MotoGP at Suzuka Circuit where he ended up in a 3rd place. That marked the journey of Kato's entry into the world of MotoGP where he started his dominance in 250CC class. While riding the NSR250 bike, he won 11 out of 16 MotoGP races and clinched the world championship in the year 2001. In fact, he even set a new record for most wins, which surpassed the previous record holder, Mike Hailwood. The world was watching the birth of a new champion. However, on April 6, 2003, during the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka circuit, when Daijiro was ready to make yet another history, something unexpected happened.
