Bob & Doug of GBV were in town on tour for 'Do The Collapse' album. They were nice enough to spend the whole afternoon at the radio station for Georgia State University, WRAS - Album 88. At the time WRAS was the only 100,000 watt, completely student-run radio station in the country and started broadcating in 1971. In June of 2014 Georgia Public Broadcasting started airing their shows on the 88.5 frequency due to a back room deal unbeknownst to students. Amid protests and backlash the broadcast switch was delayed. Even with protests, benefits, letterd from GA representatives...the switch happened. #SAVEWRAS and A88A (The Album 88 alumnis) are active in fighting and are confidant more of GPBs now-famous unethical practices will come to light.
