I only used it because I had it and it helps the gel to dilute.) 1oz Fragrance, I used Brambleberry Cucumber Melon Weigh with scale and set aside. 12.16oz DISTILLED water 2 TBS of sugar in the water. (adds bubbliness to soap) Weigh and set aside, stir and set aside for sugar to dissolve. 1.7oz Sodium Hydroxide 4oz Potassium Hydroxide Weigh with scale and set aside. Add lye to water, stir until dissolved. Add to oils, stick blend to emulsify, add fragrance and sodium lactate if using, stick blend until emulsified. No need to come to trace. Set aside, after 30 minutes stick blend again for a couple minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside until becomes gel. Once it is a gel, dilute with distilled water 1oz gel:2oz water. Let dilute over night, strain off diluted soap as needed, let remainder sit to sequester. Add more water if soap is not diluting.
