I finally set off on the third longest hiking trail in Poland. This is the "Blue Trail from Rzeszów to Grybów," also known colloquially as the "Border Trail" or the "Carpathian Trail." It is 429 km long and passes through the Dynowskie Foothills, the Przemyśl Foothills, the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains, the Western Bieszczady Mountains, and the Low Beskids. In the latter two mountain ranges, it runs along the Polish-Slovak border for long stretches, and between Wielka Rawka and Krzemieniec in the Bieszczady Mountains, it also runs along the Polish-Ukrainian border, but it does not cross Polish territory. This trail is also considered one of the wildest long-distance trails. I'm setting off on my hike at the beginning of autumn (October 6, 2022).
