Alfie Chromatic Harmonica

1966年に、バート・バカラックとハル・デヴィッドによって書かれた映画『アルフィー』の主題曲です。 アルフィーは英語圏では男性に使われる名前で、「妖精の支配者」や「妖精の力」という神秘的な力を持つイメージが込められているそうです。 また、中世の時代から受け継がれてきた伝統的な名前であり、高い道徳的価値観を持っている名前なんです。 そして、ディオンヌ・ワーウィックの歌で大ヒットしました。 さらに、「アルフィー」と言えば、スティーヴィー・ワンダーのハーモニカですね。 スティーヴィーのアルバムは、なぜか、エイベッツ・レッドナウ（Eivets Rednow）という名前でリリースされています。 この、エイベッツ・レッドナウですが、スティーヴィー・ワンダーの綴を逆に並び替えただけです。 Eivets Rednow →  stevie wonder ということですね。 This is the theme song for the 1966 film *Alfie*, written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
