There are thousands of cases of artists who were never recognized by the general public, while others can develop a successful career with their parents' money. This phenomenon seems to have intensified thanks to the dynamics generated by social media. Any wealthy young person can finance their adventure in the recording industry, leaving out those who truly want to make music for the love of it. Interestingly, those who try to denounce these injustices do so from a nostalgic and, in many cases, even irrational perspective. Most videos on the subject simply repeat facts without context, which only serve to reinforce the inequalities they claim to be fighting. That's why I decided to make a video where I'll try to explain why this issue with nepotism is a structural problem within the recording industry.
