Episode 11 | The Dufour 31 project | Sailing to Pampus Island (UNESCO) and Straight into Amsterdam

Hi Guys, Welcome to my 1978 Dufour 31 (10m) project. I have traded this for my Sturgeon 22 ft (my first sailboat). This Dufour has been neglected for several years (4?) It's insanely dirty, disassembled, and not in her best shape. In the coming months, I'm going to bring her life back. I'm not a sailor, and I don't have much boat experience, so come with me on the adventure to see the progress. The goal is to be ready in the summer of 2023. I'll cover all kinds of various topics, to gain and share my knowledge and experiences. In this video: My friend is joining me to do a sailing trip to Amsterdam's city center (Six Marina), and a few rounds around Pampus Island, an island in front of Amsterdam, 400 years old! It's also at the Unesco World Heritage list, so amazing to show you around! Today is the first time that both sails go out, the Genua 1 and the mainsail. Really an amazing trip!
