I liked this song the first time I heard it. It's about picking yourself up and carrying on no matter how bad the shit hits the fan - persevering in difficult times. This is something everyone can relate to at one point or another in their lives. In this context, I wanted to apply it to my favorite show - The Musketeers. I can see how unusually perfect the lyrics pertain to Athos. He has many inner demons to conquer and somehow, he needs to find a way to hang on and realize that although life sucks sometimes, things get better.
