Post Spawn Heat in the Shallows

‪@ricksimon277‬ Episode #150, In this episode, we were coming off a week where the bass we're spawning and all that we caught were large pickerels. However, on this trip we decided to go to a shallower reservoir in hopes that the water temperature would be warmer and the bass would be more aggressive. Spawning was over with at this lake and we had high productivity as the fish were very hungry. We primarily used a 2.5 inch paddle tail in this episode with a 1/8 ounce jig. I wanted to slow down the drop and have a smaller presentation in case the bass were still a little lethargic due to coder water temperatures. #bassfishing #largemouthbass #kayakfishing
