The recent developments surrounding the legendary Kadongo Kamu star Paul Job Kafeero have sparked widespread conversation across Uganda. Following the exhumation of Kafeero's remains, DNA tests conducted by the Police Forensic Directorate and the Government Analytical Laboratory confirmed that out of 25 claimants, only four (Benedicto Kafeero, Thomas Swaz Kafeero, Elizabeth Nagawa, and Simon Peter Kafeero) are his biological children. Veteran Kadongo Kamu artist Mzee Namulanda, father of 100 children, has spoken out following the contentious DNA results for the late Paul Job Kafeero’s estate. He stated that he relies solely on Buganda traditional methods to confirm paternity and does not use modern DNA, though he respects those who do. He shared a past experience where a woman presented three children claiming they were his, but traditional tests proved otherwise. To prevent disputes, he has already drafted a will ensuring his properties are clearly shared among his family in the event of his death. Government Appeal: He urged the government to intervene and provide land to bury the children excluded by the Kafeero DNA results so they are not left stranded without closure.
