Alexis was a mighty man, a free spirited artist who most always spoke with a smile. He helped so many musicians get their start, including The Stones, The Yardbirds, Free, Led Zeppelin, Eric Burdon, Pentangle, and Manfred Mann, just to name a few. He believed in me when I was starting out, and his friendship meant much to me. Respect.
