Twelve ponds, twelve miles, & a few Speckles
My recent 3 day solo pond hopping trip to the St. Regis Canoe Area in the Adirondack Mountains included carries over muddy trails and around glacial erratics. This early June trip I visited several, new to me, ponds and caught a few Speckled Trout. The Black fly's were en masse, woodland bird songs flooded the crisp cool morning air, and waterfowl were migrating and courting.
