Prepping Ground Cherries for Pie!

Ground cherry pie is an Indiana delicacy! At least, it was among our Kaehr clan growing up. Today, I prepped for it; I'll be baking the pie tomorrow morning. I don't bake pie anymore, so I didn't even remember where my pie pans were. I had to look in the deep recesses of the kitchen island with a flashlight. I found one metal pie pan.I think I'll just use an aluminum one so that I don't need to have it returned. My brother gave me the crusts so at least I don't have to get out the pastry blender and try to remember how to roll out pie crust. Oh, and another surprise photo bombing by Hedgie the kitty. He just shows up and then ignores me.
