Polovetsian Dances 1 and 2, Alexander Borodin
Professor P plays the Polovetsian Dances 1 and 2 (Polowetzer Tanze) by Alexander Borodin, in arrangement for accordion orchestra by Paul De Bra. These dances are taken from the opera "Prince Igor" which Borodin didn't manage to finish before his death in 1887. The work was completed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Alexander Glazunov. The arrangement covers the first two (out of four) dances, which are the best-known parts. The arrangement is available from https://www.de-bra.nl/arrangements.ht... and from imslp.org and from novam.net. Enjoy!
