The Names of God: Jehovah Tsaba | 1 Samuel 17 | Austin Hamrick
07/13/2020 The name Jehovah Tsaba means “The LORD of Hosts” or “The LORD of Armies” and is used over 285 times in the Bible. Did you know that God has an army? God is the Captain of this spiritual, invisible army in the heavenly places, and the Israelites knew God as their defender and protector. They understood Him to be the strength and power behind their victories. And so can we. Just as David came to Goliath in the name of Jehovah Tsaba and defeated this giant, we too can have this hope over the different “giants” and battles we face when we cling to the Lord and His Word.
