Why You Should Own A Vintage Vehicle

After being stored for the winter, I recently took my vintage truck out for the first drive of the year. I wanted to share this euphoric feeling with all of you by creating this final film for my partnership with Nikon. Every scene was shot on the z6 full frame mirrorless camera with the 35 mm f1.8 Nikkor lens. This set up was a total dream for a film like this, especially for all the scenarios where we had limited space like in the garage or in the truck cab. Once again, the stabilization and slow motion features brought this film to the next level. The lens captures beautiful looking sun flares and vividly rich colors that are an absolute blast to play with in post production. This is such a well rounded set up for timeless story telling and film making. If your gear bag were to have only a z6 with the 35mm z lens and a decent microphone on top, you’d be in better shape to produce content than most other creatives out there with 10x more gear.
