Thank you for watching. Below is a video description from Mr. B, who filmed the video. This video was filmed on June 15, 1985, and shows the Kohin South Line and Kohin North Line. These lines were planned as the Kohin Line, running from Okoppe to Hamatonbetsu. If completed, this would have connected Kushiro and Wakkanai along the Sea of ​​Okhotsk. The Kohin South Line was constructed from Okoppe to Oumu, and the Kohin North Line from Kitami-Esashi to Hamatonbetsu. However, neither line was completed, and both were abolished in July 1985. The filming took place just before the lines were abolished, but I didn't encounter any other filmmakers. The first part of the filming was between Sawaki and Sakaeoka on the Kohin South Line, and the Kohin North Line was filmed between Menashidomari and Shanai, and between Tonbetsu and Toyogyu. The section between Menashidomari and Shanai, which runs along the edge of Cape Kamui, offers spectacular views, so I mainly filmed there. This video was shot in 1985 using a Victor GZ-S3 video camera and a Victor HR-S10 portable video deck.
