Angry Woman Chokes Her Daughter In Law Inside A Bookstore, All Hell Breaks Loose
On November 16, 2023, officers responded to a Barnes & Noble regarding a fight in progress. Upon arrival, witnesses reported that a woman had followed her daughter-in-law into the store and began yelling at her. The situation quickly escalated when the woman grabbed the victim by the throat while she was holding a child in her arms. Store employees were forced to intervene and physically separate the aggressor from the victim. Officers on the scene observed red marks on the victim's throat consistent with fingerprints. After being read her rights, the woman admitted to the altercation, stating she grabbed the victim by the throat because she was "very angry." She was arrested and charged with Battery by Strangulation.
