Deltarune Ch3 - Black Knife (Capcom QSound 16-bit Cover)

I'd say spoilers... but I feel like everyone knows about the Roaring Knight by now...? In any case VERY cool Deltarune moment I think in general, it just comes out of nowhere, too. I'll not elaborate on it in case you did NOT play through it first, legit just go play the game, it's not too expensive and it's on practically everything current except mobile. I had a go at this as a joke, but then it ended up working really well with this sound set - some of the choices are a bit strange but I had to make choices that were still in this overall cohesive QSound sphere while being authentic to the composition. Now where I did have some trouble was particularly in the intro, it sounded too empty just because the original has a lot of distortion, while I can't really add that here unless I swap instruments out - but then you lose on that Capcom QSound hallmarks (which are largely in part thanks to its chosen instruments, so...) Some parts in general were just really hard to transcribe (I do it by ear), especially towards the end where it goes crazy. It was fun to get it done ultimately but man was it tough - not even whatever stem separation tools exist helped all that much honestly (and I ended up relying a lot on spectrograph analysis, way more than typical I think) In any case, I hope you'll enjoy!
