It's Black Music Month and to celebrate we invited Grammy Nominated and New Orleans Icon Rapper, Dee-1 to grace the show. In an amazing conversation, Dee-1 (David Augustin, Jr) chronicles his journey to being a different rapper than the usual New Orleans enclave. We discuss what it means to be "Real, Righteous, and Relevant" in 2023, which by any standard is more arduous than we think.
