The Fujifilm X-E5 is a camera that quickly became more than just another camera for me to test. Over the years, I've worked with virtually every possible camera system—from large format analog, through medium format, full frame, APS-C, compacts, instant cameras, and even cell phones. And it's from this perspective that I can say one thing: at least for me, the Fujifilm X-E5 is almost the perfect camera. Not as the only professional body for every job. Not as a film camera. Not as a device meant to replace everything else. But as an everyday camera for the discerning photographer—it's absolutely exceptional. It's a device that combines compact size, excellent image quality, a pleasure to shoot with, and that indescribable quality that makes you want to have it with you. And for me, that's one of the most important features of a camera.
