It’s all grooving clav, wurlitzer, funky drums, and the all important symphony of strings transporting you back to the golden days of both TV themes and symphonic disco. Dave has totally reworked and re-written this classic slice of British nostalgia, ditching the original B section and composing new parts to turn it into an orchestral soul anthem of its own. If MFSB had recorded a version of The New Avengers then maybe it might have sounded something like this.
